Nature Walk: De Krang red

Length: 12.1 km. Surface: unpaved and paved paths. Swartbroek is situated in a beautiful area with nature reserve De Krang as centre of attention.

The area used to be a swampy area. Due to the drying up of some parts of the area, sand ridges were created, on which Swartbroek, among others, was built. The area has a nice variation in fens and dry areas. At various places you will find wooden walking routes through the beautiful nature reserve.
On the route you will find a birdwatching wall at Roukespeelven. A beautiful wooden path leads you to the wall. It offers you a beautiful view of the existing nature. Dogs on a leash are welcome.

Detailed route information can be found in the brochure Grenspark Kempen-Broek Swartbroek-De Krang. In this brochure you will find 4 beautiful walks through the nature reserve De Krang and the Limburg Swartbroek.

The brochure is available in the different VVV locations and costs € 2.50.
