Along the route, you’ll pass two official Archeo Route Limburg locations, where our archaeologist Archie uses AR and digital technology to bring the stories behind archaeological finds to life.
In addition, this 8.5 km walk reveals more about the history of Vaals at seven other locations. Learn about the Von Clermont cloth factory, the meaning of "Der Bau", and uncover the secrets of Castles Vaalsbroek and Bloemendal. You’ll also discover more about the region’s religious past.

You can start the walk anywhere, but the official starting point is at Von Clermontplein, next to an Archeo Route Limburg location.
