Limburg has the richest archaeological history in the Netherlands. With the Archeo Route Limburg, you can explore archaeological stories at over 100 locations. Large spears mark places where exciting discoveries were made or important historical events took place. In some cities, instead of spears, you'll find special pavement tiles with the Archeo Route symbol. This way, you’ll always know where to go to uncover a piece of history!

Archeo Go!

In addition to Archie’s exciting stories, ArcheoGo offers an interactive challenge. Through the app, you can collect unique archaeological symbols at each location—rising from the ground at the end of the story. This game element makes every discovery even more fun!

The Timebox

The Timebox puts discoveries into their historical context, making the experience even more educational. With ten time periods and 137 extra stories, each location offers a unique mix of information. On-site, you step into the past through a 360-degree environment and see how people lived back then. You watch a short video, hear a story, and explore extra details with interactive objects.
