Except at the start, the route fully follows the numbered junction 53-73-70-72-82-3-6-47-48-95-28-29-93-83-79-42-40-41-50. You can start the cycle route at any point on the route. However, the best starting point is the Market in Weert.

The cycling route is fully included in the Archeo Route Limburg app. Download it and start the Archaeological cycling route Weert from the app. Along the way, you will be notified when you come to an interesting location. An additional info leaflet about the route of the Island and its spheres is also available. However, this is not necessary to cycle the route. Through the app, you will get enough information about the sights along the way.
Locations of the Archaeological cycling route Weert
At six Archeo locations, you will discover various, interesting aspects and finds from the history of Weert and Nederweert. Think about the story of the Van Horne dynasty, or the fortified town of Weert. You will learn more about the Island of Weert, the Celtic Schans and the city well. The story about the cachot in Nederweert is also included in the route. Along the way, you will also pass several other places of interest.
